We've just taken out Australia's 2025 Convenience Store of the Year, and we're looking for two Assistant Managers to join our high-performing teams at Pymble and Northwood.
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be hands-on and highly visible on the floor, helping lead the store through peak trading periods and ensuring our high standards are met every day.
In this role you will:
Lead day-to-day store operations
Manage service, presentation and food quality standards
Coach and support shift leaders and casual team members
Assist the Store Manager with training and performance
Drive team engagement, accountability and a high-performance culture
Maintain cleanliness, safety and compliance at all times
Manage stock levels, ordering and waste
Create rosters and manage labour to budget
Oversee food production: breakfast lines, sandwiches and hot bakery
Open or close the store and lead the team on duty
Report equipment issues and maintain company standards
You’re coming from a busy retail or hospitality environment and know how to lead people while keeping pace high and standards even higher.
You will have:
Motivation to take ownership and drive results
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Experience supervising or leading a team (advantageous)
A calm, confident approach in high-pressure environments
High standards around food safety, presentation and customer service
A hands-on, “lead from the front” attitude
Flexibility to work mornings, nights and weekends
Food Safety Certificate (preferred but not essential)
